The South Deccan Prehistory Project is a joint India-Europe project that is aimed at investigating the rich prehistory of central Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, in the southern part of the Indian subcontinent. It is an umbrella project that incorporates a number of separate studies and fieldwork expeditions.
