Teaching

Register of Tutors 2015/16

Some teaching is available on the Archaeology & Anthropology undergraduate degree. Graduate students wishing to teach will need to have completed a course on teaching in the tutorial system; these courses are offered every year.

The tutors registration form is available here. You will be kept on the register for one academic year, and will need to re-submit a form if you wish to teach in subsequent year.

Please be certain to discuss your availablility for teaching with your supervisor and with the Course Coordinator(s) of the papers you wish to teach; you will need their approval for the form. The list of coordinators can be found here.

Click here to visit the internal WebLearn site with resources for graduate students wishing to teach. Here you will find the handbook for graduate teaching in archaeology, a list of paper coordinators and college tutors, powerpoint presentations about teaching, and other useful information about graduate teaching in archaeology at Oxford. You will need to login into weblearn to view these resources.
