- Which is the most appropriate course for experience of graduate work and life without firm commitment to the DPhil, the MSt or the MPhil?

Is attendance at seminars compulsory for graduates?
Graduate students are encouraged to attend weekly seminars in Research Techniques which run in Michaelmas and Hilary Terms. A wide series of seminars also exists covering topics as diverse as Roman archaeology, archaeological science, Byzantine studies and European prehistory. Graduate students are expected to attend and/or present at those seminars relevant to their own studies.
