ICT Resources

The main computing facilities are located in the Institute of Archaeology on Beaumont Street.  The computers run a variety of software including Office and Endnote. The room is open from 9am to 5pm, access outside of these hours is possible though arrangement with the administrator. This facility is available only for postgraduate students of the School.

 

Library

 

Two OLIS/OXLIP terminals are located in the Reading Room of the Institute of Archaeology on Beaumont Street.

 

RLAHA

 

Computer resources are also available in the mezzanine area of the Research Laboratory, located in the Dyson Perrins Building.

Lecture/Seminar Rooms

 

All Archaeology lecture rooms and seminar rooms (located at either RLAHA or the Institute) are equipped with digital projectors and slide projectors.  A networked dual-boot Windows and Mac OSX computer is available in all rooms, with the facility to connect a laptop.

 

Printing

 

Colour and Mono A4 and A3 laser printing facilities are available at both the Research Laboratory and the Institute.

 

Scanning

 

Scanning is possible (up to A0 size) through arrangement with the Archaeology Photographic and Illustrations Unit (APIU).

Wireless

OWL and Eduroam wireless internet access is available in both the Research Laboratory and the Institute of Archaeology.
