• Participating in the field projects conducted by IEASM.
• Conducting research on the topics related to the field projects.
• Managing and maintaining the archives of archaeological records from the Centre's maritime archaeological research.
• Coordinating and facilitating contact between graduate students in the Institute of Archaeology and specialists working on categories of material within the archive.
• Organisation of seminars, lectures and symposia on topics related to the work of the Centre.
• Publishing the results and studies of the material.
