My overall research interest lies in archaeological science. I completed both Masters and DPhil in archaeological science in the University of Oxford and moved on to the ERC project FLAME (FLow of Ancient Metal Across Eurasia).
This project aims to combine all chemical and isotopic analyses of metal objects across Eurasia in a GIS-based database and explore the interaction between metal and humanity during the Bronze Age. In the FLAME project, I have also expanded my research from radiocarbon dating, the development of early agriculture and environmental archaeology. All of these studies are primarily based on China and its connections to the neighbouring regions.
