Mandatory for all staff

• InfoSec - The information Security and Data Protection training course must be completed by all staff every 12 months.
• The University's I5/25 Health & Safety Basics Instruction, issued on behalf of the Safety Executive Group (SEG), requires all University staff - and students involved in higher-risk activities such as work in laboratories or experimental settings - to complete the Health & Safety Basics (H&S Basics) eLearning course.
• The Harassment in Higher Education training is also mandatory for all staff.

Only for managers and supervisors:

• Overseas Travel & Fieldwork Training. Supervisors who approve risk assessments for overseas travel or fieldwork, or supervisors who lead student groups,  are required to complete this 45-minute course:
• Supervisor and Line Manager Training. All supervisors and line managers are required to complete this 1-hour course.  Refresher training is required every three years.

• Anti-Bribery and Corruption - A 30 minute course aimed at all staff.

• Equality and Diversity Briefing - A 60 minute course
