Advice for applicants & offer holders

Coronavirus (COVID-19): advice for applicants and offer holders

We recognise that the coronavirus has caused a large number of schools and universities across the world to close and review how exams are going to be held and the awarding of qualifications. Understandably, many of you will want to know how the disruption will affect your offer to study at Oxford. We want you to know that we are working hard to provide the clear answers that you need as quickly as possible and to reassure you that we will continue to be in touch with you over the coming months with further updates. This guidance will also be published on the Unviersity main webpage here and offer holders will also receive regular Preparing for Oxford emails.

In the meantime please do all that you can to stay well. All offer holders should follow their government’s advice, in the UK following the advice for ScotlandWalesNorthern Ireland and England.

For any of you who wish to find out more about wellbeing guidance, you may find some of the welfare resources available to current students useful.

If you are a current student, please go to the student coronavirus advice page for specific guidance about Trinity term arrangements.
