The School's internal deadline for receiving Expressions of Interest for Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships is Thursday 17th January. Further details regarding the information required are available on the School website here.
Applications should consist of a single pdf document (saved in the format: Leverhulme ECF-2019_(surname firstname).pdf), containing the following information:
1. A single page of A4 expression of interest, to include:
a. The working title of your Research Proposal
b. A half-page summary of your proposed research
c. A statement outlining the relevance of your proposal to other work being carried out in the School
d. Details of any facilities (e.g. for scientific analyses) that would be required from the host institution during the Fellowship
2. A CV
3. A brief letter of support from the academic within the School who will support your application and project if your application is successful
The School Board will review and rank the Expressions of Interest. All applications will be assessed on academic merit, the feasibility of the proposed research project and the extent to which the work fits with existing interests of the research cluster and the School. The School will consider its research priorities and resource implications when reaching a decision. Applicants should expect to hear on or before 31st January 2019 whether or not they will be invited to submit a full application.
Those who do not submit an Expression of Interest by the above deadline cannot be considered for this round.
