Based at South Parks Road, Jeremy works across our four sites in Oxford and manages a small team of technical and specialist support staff. As a senior member of the department, Jeremy provides ICT and buildings/facilities advice to the School Board, working closely with the Head of School and Head of Administration and Finance.
As well as ICT, Jeremy is additionally responsible for building management across the School, liaising with external contractors, other units and University Estates. This includes health and safety, security, audio/visual facilities, HVAC and the supervision and management of travel and fieldwork risk assessments.
Jeremy's professional interests include project management, interoperability, requirements analysis and innovation and he has acted as a consultant to a number of other departments in relation to web technologies, programming and databases (especially Filemaker). Jeremy has served on numerous senior University committees and project boards (including the IT Committee), having served as the Chair of the University ICT Forum (and its predecessor) for over ten years.
