Rebekah is completing a Collaborative Doctoral Award in partnership with the National Trust. Her research considers coloniality, visual culture and heritage in British country houses. Using the National Trust's collections, she is exploring how colonialism shaped British visions of the past in the early twentieth century and how the Trust drew on and contributed to these. Rebekah's work sits at the intersection between Archaeology and History and utilises both historic and contemporary materials to question how country houses came to be considered integral monuments to British history.
