Robyndelivers and helps to create the School's strategy to promote and maximise the impact of teaching and research to internal and external audiences. Maintain the School website, social media channels and printed promotional materials. Plan and deliver the School's outreach activities for prospective candidates and visiting schools. Oversee the organisation of School undergraduate and graduate open days and access programmes (UNIQ summer schools, collaboration with IntoUniversity) in Oxford and across the UK. Provide training to early career researchers and DPhil students in outreach work and at public events.
Robyn attained her BA Archaeology (2003) and MA Public Archaeology (2005) at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London and a further MA Landscape Archaeology at Galway University in 2014. Before coming to Oxford she worked as a heritage consultant and marketing officer for a tech start-up firm helping to develop 3D virtual and interactive installations for museums and heritage centres across Ireland, taking lead on the Medieval Galway exhibit in the Galway City Museum.
My working hours are generally 9-5, Monday to Friday with Fridays from home.
