I like to bring traditional archaeology together with new computational methods.
As an archaeologist, my research interests focus on the archaeological landscape of northwestern Iran and northern Mesopotamia, spanning from the Early Bronze Age to the end of the Iron Age. I am particularly interested in exploring socio-ecological dynamics and human interactions by combining traditional archaeological methods with computational approaches, such as Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, remote sensing, and other digital applications.
Since 2016, I have actively participated in various archaeological projects in western and northwestern Iran and have been involved in archaeological excavations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq as a field archaeologist.
I am currently pursuing my PhD at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary, with my research focused on Iron Age archaeology in northwestern Iran, with a case study on Rabat.
